Home Heating Oil FAQs

Where and how often do you deliver?

We deliver to the borders of Kent, Sussex and Surrey 365 days a year.

Can you deliver the same day if I have run out of fuel?

We will always aim to reserve delivery windows for emergencies or for customers who have run out. However, these slots are limited so to avoid disappointment it is important to order in advance.

How much notice do I have to give?

Ideally 48 hours, but we will always aim to deliver within 24 hours.*

* - Please note that during winter or times of heavy demand delivery times can be extended up to two weeks or more.
Can you do a weekend delivery?

We deliver most days of the year and can sometimes do a Saturday or Sunday, please call the office for more information.

Does it cost more to deliver at weekends?

No, our price is the same no matter what day or time we deliver.

What is the minimum delivery I can have?

The minimum delivery is 500 litres, as specified by Trading Standards.

Our property has restricted access. Will this be a problem?

No. As well as our large tankers we also have smaller four-wheel tankers and extra-long hoses.

What is your price for delivered fuel?

Please call us or email us if you would like today's price for fuel delivery.

When do we pay?

We work on a point-of-sale invoicing basis. Your driver will leave a bill with you on delivery, along with a pre-paid envelope, and you then have 10 days to make payment at the quoted price.

What payment types do you accept?

You can pay over the phone by credit/debit card, by BACS or by cheque.

Can I reach you in an emergency?

Yes, you can contact us any time and, if out of hours, call 07808 769986, the duty driver will not answer if he is driving, so leave a message and he will call you back.

Can you give me advice on my heating tank/requirements?

Geoff Boorman personally has over 40 years experience in the industry and is always happy to provide you with advice.

Can you deliver if I am not at home?

Yes. As long as we can access your tank then you do not need to be at home. Any special instructions should be given at the time of ordering.

Does kerosene have a shelf-life?

Providing your storage tank is in good condition then kerosene should not degrade.
